Palos Verdes Gallery

Palos Verdes is where I was born and raised—the place where my artistic soul was formed. It is a landscape that introduced me to beauty, community, and a timeless sense of place that feels lifted from a Norman Rockwell scene. I have carried a camera for as long as I can remember, and Palos Verdes remains the foundation of my understanding of light, composition, and the creative power an environment can provide.

Over decades, I’ve become deeply rooted in this land—familiar with its rhythms, its seasons, and its subtle micro-climates. I know when the atmosphere is about to turn, when the sunset will ignite in orange hues, or when light will cascade across the water in quiet brilliance. These moments are not chance encounters; they are the result of patience, experience, and an intimate connection with place. In Palos Verdes, magic happens at specific times, in specific locations, and I’ve spent years learning where to stand when it does.

Coves and countryside offer rich, colorful tributes to carefully preserved natural gems, filling the frame with depth and detail. High peaks, hidden caves, wildlife, and a constant sense of wonder are daily fixtures here—shared by generations who call this peninsula home.

When I created The Great Peninsula, it was a pictorial narrative of a day in the life of Palos Verdes, seen through the eyes of a local. This gallery continues that story—offering a life captured in moments, and moments that define what makes Palos Verdes truly exceptional.

Familiarity often guides the selection process for this collection, as many of these images are cherished by locals and those fortunate enough to have experienced Palos Verdes firsthand. Paper and canvas finishes beautifully convey the region’s signature tranquility, offering a softness that reflects the elegance, balance, and natural simplicity found throughout the landscape. A matte to slight-gloss finish on these materials best preserves the subtle charm and atmospheric essence of the area.

For a more contemporary presentation, metal and acrylic substrates introduce deeper color saturation and heightened contrast, creating a rich visual foundation for the collection’s vibrant compositions. Metal, in particular, offers a striking, frameless presentation that floats elegantly off the wall. The result is a refined blend of contemporary presentation and classic tonality—bold yet timeless in its presence.

I do not offer print-on-demand. I believe both my work and your selections deserve a level of attention that only a traditional, hands-on process can provide.

Once you’ve identified the pieces you’re interested in, please email me with the inventory number, your desired size, and your preferred presentation. Options include paper or canvas (matted, framed, or rolled), as well as metal or other hard-surface formats (backed or bare).

Paper and canvas offer a clean, contemporary aesthetic that blends seamlessly into existing spaces, while metal and hard-surface prints deliver a bolder presence—designed to make a statement and serve as a conversation piece.

Pricing is based entirely on your selections. We will communicate directly to finalize each detail, ensuring the finished piece is a precise match rather than a “best-case” approximation. All costs will be clearly itemized in an invoice, giving you the opportunity to review, ask questions, or make adjustments prior to final approval.

Payment is required in full before order fulfillment. By placing an order, you acknowledge that all sales are final and non-refundable.

Prints are drop-shipped directly to you from the professional lab. In the rare event of marks, scratches, or production defects, I will work directly with the printer to facilitate a return or replacement. Once an order is placed, all returns and replacements are subject to the printer’s policies.

As a general reference, small paper prints typically begin at $159 (excluding shipping), while small metal prints begin at $279. Framing, matting, backing, and other presentation options are additional costs.
