Sea Gallery

Welcome to the Sea Gallery.

This collection embraces water in all its fluid forms — reflections, movement, depth, and light. The images capture the life and essence of the sea, revealing details and moments that only photography can preserve.

Many of these seascapes are intentionally presented with an ambiguous sense of direction and location.

The viewer is placed simply on Earth, surrounded by water, allowing the images to express the universal beauty and power of the world’s oceans and natural waterways.

For private collectors, a minimum print size of 24 × 36 inches is required in order to preserve the visual impact and presentation quality of the work.

For most pieces in this gallery, Erik Jay recommends metal or acrylic presentation to enhance the depth, contrast, and bold tonal qualities found in water photography. Paper prints are also available for any image in the gallery. When selecting paper, a matte finish is recommended to minimize reflective properties that can sometimes occur with water imagery.

When inquiring about a specific image, please reference the inventory number associated with the photo. In your message, include the following:

• Inventory number
• Desired size
• Material (metal, acrylic, or other)
• Framed or unframed
• Quantity
• Whether the request is for print purchase or digital licensing

Fine art prints typically average approximately $1.44 per square inch, while digital licensing begins at $750 per image, depending on usage and scope.
